Monthly PNL ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why, and how we protect it, in line with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
What we collect
- Information you give us when you request a quote: your name, email, phone number, and answers about your business (how far behind your books are, whether you're incorporated, and annual revenue range).
- Advertising and usage data collected automatically: pages visited, the ad or campaign that brought you here (such as Google click IDs and UTM parameters), device and browser type, and approximate location.
How we use it
- To contact you about your quote and provide bookkeeping services you request.
- To measure and improve our advertising. When you submit a form, we may share your email and phone number with Google in a hashed (encrypted) form so Google can match it to ad interactions (Google "enhanced conversions"). Meta (Facebook) may receive similar conversion information through the Meta Pixel.
- To meet legal, tax and regulatory obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.
Cookies and tracking
This site uses cookies and similar technologies from Google Ads and Meta to measure ad performance. You can manage or block cookies in your browser settings, adjust Google ad personalization at adssettings.google.com, and Meta ad preferences in your Facebook account settings.
Who we share it with
Only with service providers that help us operate: our hosting provider (DigitalOcean), our email provider (Google), advertising platforms (Google, Meta), and accounting software you authorize us to use (QuickBooks Online, Xero). Some of these providers may store information outside Canada, where it may be accessible to authorities under local law.
How long we keep it
Quote requests that don't become clients are deleted within 24 months. Client records are kept as long as required by the Canada Revenue Agency (generally six years).
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or withdraw consent to being contacted, at any time. Call us at 905-917-1662. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. Client financial data is handled only through secure, access-controlled systems.
